The day after the 2008 election, we noted the New Black Panther video that even then had gone viral – you know, the video that had baton-wielding thugs intimidating voters outside a Philadelphia polling place. We noted that the ‘mainstream’ press seemed uninterested. And they were. And over the last two years the media’s disinterest in hard news has translated into accelerating loss of readership and ratings. Here’s the video that generated mostly yawns:

Now the black panther case has bubbled up again – this time as a result of a newly-resigned career DOJ lawyer who was working on the case. It turns out that the case was killed by political appointees within the department – apparently with the knowledge of Eric Holder. The resigned whistle blower is one Christian Adams and he’s written a couple of good pieces on the subject at the Washington Times and at Pajamas Media.

This matter is most assuredly not going away, particularly as there are indications that there was direct White House guidance in the decision to drop the case.

Stay tuned.

UPDATE: Here’s Christian Adams’s interview with Megyn Kelly yesterday on Fox.
