Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum (together with AGs from South Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, Utah, Louisiana, Michigan, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Washington, Idaho and South Carolina) filed a federal lawsuit in the Northern District of Florida seeking an injunction to prevent implementation of various provisions of ObamaCare.

The complaint asserts that ObamaCare exceeds federal authority under the Commerce and Taxing and Spending Clauses of Article I and violates state sovereignty under Article X of the US Constitution.

In due course I’ll provide my thoughts on the probable success of this lawsuit (and Virginia’s).

The Florida AG announcement is here and the complaint may be viewed here.
