ObamaCare: the Ultimate Pyrrhic Victory

Can you say, Pyrrhic Victory? That’s what the Left got last night, nothing more.

Like so many other Americans, I was glued to C-SPAN throughout Sunday afternoon and evening. Most everything that’s been said about the fiasco has been said better by others. I’m determined – not discouraged. The fight has just begun on so many levels.

There were Republican standouts:

Paul Ryan. I think he could be our next president.

Mike Pence was excellent as well (click image).

Even John Boehner rose to the occasion.

Now for reconciliation in the Senate – and the inevitable legal challenges.

Be of good cheer.

John Hinderaker at Power Line has a list of silver linings worth reading.

Thanks for linking to that video of Ryan. Due to the time difference, I couldn’t watch the whole debate, unfortunately, just the early hours of it, in which Ryan made some exceptional remarks already. But I’ll gladly use this in an article about the congressman that I’m working on.
