It’s always a source of wonder for me at the Democrat double-standard. Even in matters of “collegiality”.
When a Republican tells the truth in plain language, expect a torrent of ad hominem abuse. In fact, in any discussion with a leftist, it’s only a matter of time before the epithets begin to fly. When a leftist – even a Senator – unleashes a torrent of abuse, all we hear is silence in the dinosaur media.
Here’s Max Baucus’ collegiality on display during the health-care debate in a video that’s been making the rounds. I leave it to the viewer to decide whether the man was drunk or not.
As to Baucus’ protestations about “bi-partisanship” – why would anyone want to sign up for a bill that’s a full-frontal assault on our liberty? Sure, Senator Baucus, we’d all love to mediate between the wretched and the truly awful. Just so long as we empower people like you even further.
You’re damned right we don’t want to “work with you”.
