Welcome to the readers referred from J. Robert Smith’s American Thinker article on liberalism. It’s gratifying to be linked by Mr. Smith and AT and we hope visitors will take the time to explore Behind Blue Lines. We like to think of ourselves as brainy yet playful and we’re sure there’s something both to inform and amuse.

Please excuse the abundance of recent articles about the TABOR campaign in Maine. We’re all heavily involved, so posting on current events outside the campaign tends to take a second place these days. But we’ll post where we can.

I enjoyed your blog on the Smoot-Hawley act; the similarities are frightening.
I also had the honor of visiting the fine state of Maine this summer with my family. We enjoyed Lake Sebago, the ‘Desert of Maine,’ and Portland/Kennebunkport.
Keep fighting the fight against ignorance!
