I’ve expressed my disgust for Jimmy Carter numerous times on BBL. His anti-Semitic attitudes and specific antipathy toward Israel don’t endear him to a majority of the American people. He does have one fan, apparently: Osama Bin Laden’s recent reading list included Carter’s book Palestine: Peace not Apartheid. But when Carter decides to swim out into the deep water, he doesn’t stop until he’s over the Marianas Trench.
This paragon of virtue has interjected himself into the debate over ObamaCare. And his contribution? Nobel prize-winner Carter denounces as racist everyone who criticizes Hope ‘n Change or his plan. Here’s Carter on Sunday:

As Allah points out, Carter actually believes this nonsense: that political opposition to the administration is rooted in racism. That’s the most astonishing take-away from Carter’s interview: that while some use the poisonous charge of racism cynically, Carter does it because he actually believes it.
And this embittered fool was really our president for four years.
