Meet Zampolit Van Jones, Hope ‘n Change’s “Green Czar”. For those of you who don’t know the term, “zampolit” is a Russian word meaning “political commissar”. In the Soviet Union, every military unit had two commanders: the military commander and the commissar who enforced political conformity.
Ron Radosh – a Red Diaper baby himself – ably documented Zampolit Jones’ career in his recent Pajamas Media posting. I’m not given to tossing the label “communist” around lightly, but that’s what Jones is: an unrepentant revolutionary Communist – and a jailbird to boot.

Glaring omission by the MSM on this story. The local paper dutifully prints a story by the Associated Press that makes this sound like a “he said, she said” story. The nasty Republicans are picking on another Obama friend. This Jones guy is so fringe that he is falling off the scale. I’m going to write the paper about their coverage (or lack of) of this story and the Charles Rangel issue. It is hard to believe how partisan the MSM has become.
