The Loathsome Barney Frank on Single-Payer

A lefty activist for single-payer (e.g. government-run) health care caught up with the ever-loathsome Barney Frank in Washington on July 27th. Frank obligingly stated that he was in favor of a single-payer plan (no surprise there) but did candidly state that the so-called “public option” plan pushed by House Dems is the Trojan Horse that gets us to single-payer. I suppose there’s no surprise there either, but it’s always enlightening to see a public menace admit his true intentions.
