The ‘tea party’ movement has been growing and spreading with little comment from the prestige media. It all appears to be quite spontaneous, paranoid ranting on the left notwithstanding. Although you won’t find it covered, national protests are planned for Tax Day on the 15th. I expect the protests to be well-attended and the movement to grow.
But while the media elite haven’t deigned to cover the events, the movement has attracted the likes of Kos, HuffPo and ACORN. And now there are reports that the Tax Day protests will be infiltrated by professionals who will attempt to disrupt the message and manipulate the media presentation.
